Mapping Shared and Personal Drives
To map drives, you must have an active connection via Pulse Secure to WROAMs
Staff who normally use a laptop may not need to follow the instructions to map drive(s). Check either the folder icon or the Finder icon for confirmation prior to mapping the drive(s).
For PC / Windows Users:
- Click on the folder icon in the taskbar on your pc
- Choose This PC in the options provided on the left hand side of the page
- Choose Computer (tab beside File)
- Click Map network drive
- Choose a drive letter from the Drive: dropdown menu (for simplicity you can choose W: and H:
- Drives will need to be mapped separately
- Enter the share path in the Folder: field
- W: drive path is: \\walter.uwo.pri\extwork$\
- H: drive path is: \\walter.uwo.pri\exthome$\”your user ID”
- Uncheck the Reconnect at sign in box
- Check the Connect using different credentials box
- Click Finish
- Enter your Western User ID (uwo\userid) and Password. Your user name needs to be preceded by uwo\
For Mac Users:
- Open Finder
- On the top menu, click on GO
- Click Connect to Sever
- Type in smb://walter.uwo.pri/extwork$/
- On the top menu, click on GO
- Click Connect to Sever
- Type in smb://walter.uwo.pri/exthome$/
